Kalen Lake - Owner/Creative Director - Electremedia LLC

Hello,

My name is Kalen Lake, and I”m the Owner and Creative Director of Electremedia LLC (Signs and Design), and Custom Signs OKC, along with other existing ventures and initiatives in development.  I like to stay busy!

I have a B.A. in Professional Writing from the University of Central Oklahoma and have spent time playing music professionally in my early career, then worked as a National Media Publicist in Nashville following graduation.

After about 5 years I moved back to Oklahoma City where I worked as an Account Executive in Advertising and National Marketing Director at the corporate office for a music retailer.

Following my passion in design and having developed signficiant computer and technical writing chops, I taught Design Technology to teens at a Magnet School in San Antonio for about 7 years.

Following my stint at teaching and curriculum development I moved to Seattle to try my hand at a career with Microsoft Games and other 3D animation game software companies, at least that was my intention.  After about a year of moderate attempts at breaking into the market and finding a position offer that I thought satisfied my long term goals everything stopped when an emergency in my family brought me back home to Oklahoma City after decades of absence.

After helping the family stabilize, I found myself without work and in a huge sidestep in my career path.  That’s where Electremedia began, as a graphics design company, which soon became a “sign company.” Incorporating in 2012, we have since provided signage, consulting and design for hundreds of businesses in Oklahoma and around the US. Today we continue to expand into more relevent ventures, from contributing to Adobe Stock, providing POD product as a Seller on Walmart.com, more Custom Signs and are currently developing a Promotional Items offering we’re yet to launch.

Thank you for visiting, and I and my team hope to help you find your own path and success, no matter what detours you’ve had to endure.  I understand!

Kindest regards,

Kalen Lake
